valer1o
Hi all. In few words: I always avoided playing skyrim with SKSE after I had serious problems with saving games with the game, losing hundreds of hours of play. So, with SkyrimSE i just played without SKSE... Now,enticed by mods that modify the interface and easy loot, i decidet to try agan, with Skyrim SE. I followed exactly these instructions: 1. Copy the .dll and .exe files to your Skyrim directory. This is usually in your Program Files folder under Steam\SteamApps\common\skyrim\. If you see files named TESV and SkyrimLauncher, this is the correct folder. Do not copy these files to the Data folder as with a normal mod. The "src" folder is only useful for programmers, most users can ignore it. 2. Copy the .pex files in Data\Scripts\ into the Data\Scripts\ folder of your installation. The .pex files are needed by all users of SKSE. after this, again, some (fortunately just some) savegame corrupted, and the other savegame with missing files(lost equipment, weapons, spells ecc.ecc). So... whats wrong with this SKSE, why cause problems, also just following just the instructions...and above all, how to solve this conflict with Slyrim special edition. joeanrachel
Is the problem really skse or the extensive list of mods heaping on your RAM? Ive learned to have a plan for a game when modding. One time I will do graphics mods and vanilla gameplay and the next time I will grab thief related game play changes and stick with vanilla graphics, or something else. Ive learned to never ever mix the warzone mod with any other mods, crap ton of RAM clamping there. RAM is like a computer desk. The more mods you have the more heap memory is used or desk space. The more piles of crap you have the less space there is to shuffle data around for scripts. The more you get into a game the more variables it has to remember so that it knows said dragonborn did this and that. All this adds up into an eventual crash if the user (from the get go) overloaded the heap memory. Best defense is a good offense right? Ive heard about you and your honeyed words. You're like me, fancy one handed weapons. Each thing that the game remembers stacks onto the heap. People always question why it looks like bethesda skimps on certain story lines or areas of their games. Its because they have to understand that the common player doesnt have a workstation power horse needs more accessible memory. Then you take into account that most people seem to want that super jiggle titty and the files involved in that take up both heap and accessible memory as well as your graphics card processing.... Is it really skse or do you have a zillion mods?
Anselmp
Is that SKSE64? Do you have SkyUI? How do you launch the game? What else is running? How much memory do you have? How much space do you have?
