Noob ? - keyboard/mouse, joystick?

I play using my Logitech G400 mouse and my trusty old HP keyboard I've used since early 2007. I tried using a newer Microsoft keyboard but at some point Windows decided it was going to download and install the driver package that binds certain keys to functions like F12 to print which screwed up using it for Skyrim...that shiny new keyboard is now attached to my music server PC streaming music into Second Life at my shop and club. I've tried using controllers but I can't use the ones with the little joysticks so I gave up console gaming and thier controllers. I do own a Logitech controler that looks a lot like a PS3 controller but it sits on my self unloved and unused. I personally feel very comfortable with the mouse and keyboard and love the on the fly mouse sensativity adjustments of my mouse.

It's really a matter of personal preference which you use - But if you opt for KB/Mouse Be sure to turn OFF the controller in the ini file. ( instructions readily available if you don't know how to change the ini files) And get the Sky-UI program as the controller centric standard UI actually sucks big time when using a KB/Mouse.

As for an experts opinion on the difference.

My preference is Xbox controller. Using K+M just seems less immersive, a lot less like I'm in the game. Using a controller feels a lot more natural and immersive, since I'm the kind of guy who tends to almost mimic events on screen. So I tend to jerk sideways if I'm dodging something lol.

It an improved ui.you can get it off the nexus and workshop like any other mod. You should also get the script extender while your at it to get the full use out of it. You have to get the script extender off it's own site.
