iamkj
Hey everyone. I'm excited about playing skyrim modded, but I want to play it safe and avoid conflicts at all cost. So really quickly, where can I find a tutorial on optimizing skyrim to run better. Next, I am going to install the Nexus mod manager to install mods. I would love some recommendations for safe, coherent (i.e., they work together), and useful mods. I want to grab the UI mod, a couple graphic mods (that won't tax my machine too much), and some extra armor and weopons. That's about it. Any other recommendation? Oh, and I would like to tweak the NPC voices in the game. The same 3-4 voice actors all the time really takes me out of the game as a distraction. I'm not looking for new NPCs, just improvements on the existing NPC's. Any recommendations? Thanks for your help guys.
Eckss
Hi, for Optimization & Mods, the best source is STEP. It's a little out of date atm, but still great. Also, I play with a lot of Mods and I've tried and rejected many others. I use all of these (among others) and I'm sure they’re all Must Have/Worth Having. bben46
Several tutorials in this. Along with a lot more. Here is a link to my troubleshooting blog. http://s1.zetaboards.com/bbenlibrary/topic/4751769/1/#newThis is updated from time to time so come back later for more. If you use any of this and have some success - or even if nothing works - please post back here what you did that worked or didn't work. That kind of information can be invaluable to other members having the same or similar problems - And to me in fixing any problems in the blog.
