Institute Makes it Right: Synth Maxson returning home to CW

So as the Institute director I found it easy to replace the crew of the Prydwen and her command staff with capable facsimiles. Rebuilding the Prydwen was a far more daunting undertaking, but the airship once again graces the skies over Boston. I now am looking for a believable narrative. The fighting and later extensive salvage and recovery efforts at the airport certainly won't go unnoticed. With Maxson's position a solid explanation should be easy to sell.

 

What tale do I have Maxson tell to the Capital Wasteland Brotherhood upon his return?
