LE Tattoos with powers/enchantments

Hello all!

 

A quick search of the forums didn't turn up anything like what I was looking for but I surely can't be the first one to ask about my topic. If this request has been made or the mods exist, I apologize for the wasted time.

 

Here's the request: What if the face-changer lady in Riften was also a tattoo artist? And what if the player could ENCHANT those tattoos? I think that would be pretty sweet!

 

Huge props to all of you talented and patient people who make the mods that make my game enjoyable and constantly new. Thank you VERY much!

I'm still waiting for wearable tattoos :biggrin:

 

I'm currently using the only one wearable tattoo I was able to find, shame it's "linked" to certain illegal armor and thus is not uploaded to Nexus.

 

*A bit clarification*

The "glove" part which contains the tattoo (Yep, it adds tattoo to the back of the hand) has thin layer above the hand, by adding texture + alpha map to it it's possible to make "tattoos" that can be made wearable.

It's also child's play to edit the tattoo, as it's controlled only by single .dds file. (Normal map is not necessary, but could be made too.) It'd be possible to add Glow map to it too. (Tried it. works) as it functions exactly like armor.

Also, by making it "non-playable" it's possible to make them "permanent" (/ removable via console)

and the glove part is made from a scratch.

 

I'm trying to upload picture of what I did for myself with it, but I can't upload pictures to threads for some reason >.<

(Also, I don't feel like putting it to image section of nexus and putting link here, as the glove still comes with ported armor and I don't want to start sharing links to that)

 

Sooo, it is possible to make wearable tattoos, it's possible to make them appear always (with revealing armors too)

and it'd be possible to enchant them.

 

WHY NOBODY HAS MADE ANY YET :biggrin:

 

Maybe there's some bigger "problems" with full body tattoos? I'm experimenting just with the hand-only version.

Let's hope someone notices this thread and makes something like this :biggrin:

 

I'd be able to do the CK tinkering if I could get some required meshes. :biggrin:

(Actually, female + male mesh, _0 and _1 version, thin layer just above the skin is all that is required)

If none are created by the time my prject is up and running, id appreriate the help making some glowing tattoos with custom enchantments.
