ThunderbolttheFox
well I finally got around to beating the dlcs for oblivion (since before I only got halfway through them before putting them off and playing another game, then forgetting where I was in the game and starting over to do the same thing a bunch of times) and after completing them I'm left wondering, is there any unofficial DLC's for oblivion? If so, where can I find them?
bben46
Player made DLCs are called Mods. Game maker made mods are called DLCs. You usually (but not always) have to pay something for DLCs. The exception in Oblivion is Shivering Isles which is a game upgrade as well as a DLC. And still have to pay for but worth it. DLCs for Oblivion are only available through Steam store (NOT the steam workshop) We do not allow them to be uploaded here as that would be piracy. If you are looking for longer mods (FREE) with plot and a reward, I recommend Glenvar Castle http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/8235 A far better castle than the DLC Battlehorn - and a much harder quest to earn it. - there is also a voice mod for it: http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/19520 Verona House - http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/36389 A quest fit for a champion. You not only get a huge manor house with a full staff, but an entire village that is far better than any of the vanilla villages. MUST have completed the main quest first. Look through the top 100 lists for more that you may like.
scarycave
I believe the desert mod could count as an add-on if your referring to a new world space, I've also seen a mod called windfall. Then there's Knights of the nine: Revelation, haven't tried it yet since I just got all the add-ons but its apparently a pretty good mod. I'm also working on one right now but I don't know when it will be finished.
The_Vyper
Reclaiming Sancre Tor is a post-main quest addon that (IMO) is far superior to the main quest itself. As already mentioned, Knights of the Nine: Revelation is also very good. It's a post- Knights of the Nine expansion that greatly expands the Knight's role in Cyrodiil, as well as greatly expanding the story. If you're looking for new quests and adventures, look through this list. If you're looking for new lands to explore, look through this list.
