sirxazor
I have customize a couple of npcs already and I have downloaded some very cool armor but now I have a problem trying to add the outfits of this cool armor into the customized npc because they are not the same plugin file. Is there a way for me to combine or have these open at the same time so I could select the outfit of the new armor on my edited npc?
gamefever
With Tes5edit, You should be able to copy the armor from your Armor Mod pluggin into your Custom Made Npc Pluggin This will of course make the Armor pluggin a Master, unless you properly merge your Armor Plug and NPC plug together. Don't have Tes5Edit open and in front of me so can't remember off the top of my head how to do it.
ripple
Like gamefever said, you will probably need to make the custom armour mods 'masters' to your custom NPC esp's, but this will be done automatically in TES5Edt via a prompt. 1) create an outfit entry containing records of armour pieces/clothing you want the NPC to wear (this step is probably where you will receive the prompt to add the armour mod as a master to the esp you are editing). You can edit the custom NPC esp to include this outfit entry or you can create a new esp. 2) Edit the NPC records in the custom NPC esp or the new compatibility esp you've created to assign the outfit.
