jaxxdarkheart
Hello I was having some issues with Skyui. Was getting Error 5 which I know means Incompatible files. I had this issue whenever I would open up the menu. I have so far uninstalled Skyui and reinstalled it. I have verified integrity of game files through steam. Also have looked in files IE (Skyrim SE -->Data-->Interface) But saw no files related to Skyui, So I put the files there manually. Issue is still persisting. I'll post my load order and mods. Maybe I'm missing an menu mod and I'm just stupid lol. Also was having an issue where I would boot up the game and the mods I had installed client side, (not through mod manager) were disabling themselves. EDIT: Just gonna add a bit here I have skyrim SE installed I have SKSE64 Installed and Skyui is Version 1.5 SE https://modwat.ch/u/HelpTheBottom/plugins https://imgur.com/a/ysLwIoW (Part 3 of the mod list)
wfandrews
For SSE you should be using SkyUI_5_2_SE. Where are you downloading the mod from? The reason you are getting that error code is probably because you are using the wrong version of SkyUI.

wfandrews
I would download it from silverlock.org and install it manually. Just open the archive and copy and paste the contents to your SSE directory, where SkyrimSE.exe is located. Everything in the file is not necessary for skse64 to function but it does no harm, as far as I know, to just put everything in the directory. Are you launching the game from skse64? What I do is create a shortcut to skse64_loader.exe, put the shortcut on my desktop and launch the game from that. Remember that Steam must be running for the game to launch.
