Honeycone
Hello. I've run into a problem where all enemies detect me very easily. Even with a sneak skill of 90+, they can detect me 50 meters away behind a mountain. I don't have many gameplay-changing mods in my mod list and even if I disable the mods that affect stealth, the problem remains. In the modlist below I've disabled all the Project Nevada plugins and the CombatEnhancer plugin. Does anybody have an idea of how I can solve this? The only other idea I have is to either reinstall all mods or reinstall the entire game (+ all mods), but that's a big hassle I'd rather avoid (unless you know of an easy way to reinstall all mods?). # Automatically generated by VortexProject Nevada - Dead Money.espProject Nevada - Core.esmProject Nevada - Gun Runners' Arsenal.espProject Nevada - Equipment.esmProject Nevada - Honest Hearts.espProject Nevada - Rebalance.espProject Nevada - Lonesome Road.espProject Nevada - Old World Blues (No Cyberware).espFalloutNV.esmDeadMoney.esmHonestHearts.esmOldWorldBlues.esmLonesomeRoad.esmGunRunnersArsenal.esmClassicPack.esmMercenaryPack.esmTribalPack.esmCaravanPack.esmYUP - Base Game + All DLC.esmFunctional Post Game Ending.esmTLD_Travelers.esmUWHNV-Core.esmCompanionInfAmmo.esmRH_IRONSIGHTS_NV.esmoHUD.esmUnofficial Patch NVSE.espYUP - NPC Fixes (Base Game + All DLC).espCombatEnhancer.espNPCs Can Miss.esppopulatedcasino.espFunctional Post Game Ending - Populated Casinos Patch.espSorterUpdater_UWHNV.espUWHNV-Addon-DLC.espUWHNV-Addon-GRA.espArmourRepairKits.espMTB.espUWHNV-Addon-FollowerHome.espCuter Veronica Felicia Day.espWMIMNV.espRH_IronSights_NV_Vanilla.espWeapon Retexture Project.espCompanionInfAmmoOptional.espAllCompanionsEssential 2.0b.espNo Hit Squads.espCompanionInfAmmoCheat.espThe Weapon Mod Menu.espJIP Improved Recipe Menu.espJIP Companions Command & Control.espFOVSlider.espJustLootMenu.espThe Mod Configuration Menu.espVanilla UI Plus.esp
dubiousintent
First I've heard of that particular problem in the 6 years I've been dealing with such problems here. So it isn't "typical". Let's start with that list is not "sorted" correctly. I don't use Vortex, but it is my understanding that it works with LOOT through it's API. So you should be able to get a LOOT sorted load order out of it. Check the Vortex documentation or it's support forum if you aren't aware of how they work together. We REALLY need to see a "load order" as produced by "LOOT"; to include the main game and DLC files. (Screenshots don't work so well for the purpose.) With modded games its the sequence, not merely the list of mods, which is the cause of many problems. LOOT's sort gives a good first approximation, correcting the most obvious issues and is sufficient for most players. You can make minor adjustments to the order and tell LOOT how to remember them. It's in the on-line documentation under "Metadata". Instructions on how to copy it's list for posting are in the "How to ask for help" article, and "Checklist Item #11' entry in the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" guide. Please see the 'Vanilla Load Order' entry in the 'First Timer Advice' section; and the 'Common Game Problems' section of the wiki "FNV General Mod Use Advice" article. -Dubious- Edited June 24, 2020 by dubiousintent
