Argonian reproduction - Raise a family

Since Skyrim is getting more advanced by the Day (mods n scripts) I thought this idea was feasable for talented modders and people who wish to add more flavor to the Hearthfire DLC "family" thing Bethesda crumbled together.

 

Hearthfire is not a bad addition, the fact you build your own home although it was available before release...

Anyway your an Argonian male/female married to another Argonian spouse, you get married, move into your new lovenest together and happy spend your game-life together but without anything else happening for the rest of your marriage except to exchange plesentries, use the spouse as a source of money and getting rid of unwanted gear to make further coin or more resources like potions, arrows n armor. but where is the love? Where you expecting to actually start a family? Have a actual Dragonborn Jr who follow's his lizard daddy/mommie into the dragon slaying and soul noming business?

This idea I thought up a few days ago ad thought about slotting together using vanilla resources and a few mods available on the nexus really inspired me to plan out a possible "Pregnancy system for Argonians" I would include other races but Argonians we assume reproduce by laying eggs which is more easy to do I think.

 

This is a basic system that could be implimented by using advanced scripting and so forth and is based around Male Argonian players and thier female Argonian spouses, since the onl ingame Vanillia Argonian female spouse is Shavee from the Windhelm Argonian Assembledge, she will be the main character used in this conceptual idea.

 

 

Step 1; You marry Shavee (or other female Argonian ) after doing thier favor, becoming friends or just changing the relationship status via console by typing Setrelationshiprank 14 3 and adding them to the marriage faction.

 

Step 2: You move into your new home (may be vanillia housing for now as well as Hearthfire houses) your new love comments how beautiful it is as they do and also mentions that this will be perfect at raising a family one day.

 

Step3: After a month in ingame time of being married (im sure most gamers are bound to have been like this for much time already but can tweak it abit if possible to a earilier date, just trying to be a bit realistic cos most marriages ideally start of with both spouses living together for a short while before planning a family straight after marriage.) Shavee may bring up a conversation stating that she has recently fallen in love with he idea of being a mother and also enquire with you how you think of the idea, you then can have a few options of saying you either love the idea, say you dont like the idea and never bring it up again or simply mention you don;t know and ask Shavee (or your chosen Female Argonian spouse) to bring up the subject later say 3 ingame days time.

 

Step4: If you Say you love the idea, Shavee will be exttremely happ and give you all sorts of kisses, food, pressents etc and then starts to have a small chat of the excitment of being a mother etc. Now she asks you when exactly you would like to start the *process* of making Shavee pregnant? Shavee would immediatly bring up the fact hat you first need to create a "Baby room" or an oversized nest as seen with Birds in Skyrim so it can be where the planned egg can be placed until the hatching. This area could be the allocated Child's room where you select the option to decorate your house which is added in Hearthfire.Until this area is bought, set up and established, Shavee's AI then checks if hat aspect is done and then you can say to her that the nest is complete.

 

Step 5: You could then start straight away then both you and Shavee both go to your marital bed chambers and when Shavee sits on the bed in a provocotive nightgown to arouse you etc. You can then have the option of saying "Lets get to it" another saying im not ready... I need to rethink our position and Shavee asks why? You can simply say ou are not ready to be a father or choose the option we do not have enough money righr now or Skyrm is currently not ideal to bring up a hatchling in times of war.... this is open to discussion. If you choose Let get to it or so, the screen can either go black with Male n Female grunting & moaning sounds xD and then 5 ingame hours would have passed. (We could add a small Ai think to ensure the Argonians have privacy and all companions and other home dwellers are atleast 5 or so metres away. The screen can either fade to black *OR* some players might acually want to do the love making by use of Sexual animations such as the ones used in Animated Prostitution which is oh-so-popular as is with tradition with Bethesda modded games. I dunno..

After the 5 or so ingame hours have passed. there could be a chance of pregnanc implimented if unsuccessful , no sound and if successful you can have a lil chime like sound as witnessed in the Sims2 game.... borrowin an aspect thre or compltely unknown if successful or not.

 

Step 6: Down the line of a few days about 4? Shavee could then mention to you if your at home that she is feeling reather unwell and is having constant stomach pains (morning sickness) and states that she thinks she is pregnant.

This could lead to abou 4 weeks of Shavee roaming the house eating food and staying in bed for 12 hours to rest.

(I know 2 weeks ingame is a long time for most players but I want this idea to be as realistc as possible and Im sure Im not alone in such desires.) Shavee will still have the same vanilla services available open such as opening the store and providing you with homecooked meals. She can periodically ask you for some special tonic you can make using a veriaty of ingredients that can help eleviate her morning sickness symtomes etc.

 

Step 7; After about 4 weeks, Shavee suddently changes into a werewolf and ripps your head off... no not right :/

Umm Shavee's body type then switches to a pregnancy body to establish the fact she IS for certain pregnant thus she informs you of this as you can see and you both are happp and both frightend at the prospect.

Since there is a few pregnancy bodytypes present available, we could use them as an outfit for Shavee or our chosen Female Argonian spouse to wear during this period of gestation (2 months?)

Shavee then just wanders around the house, doing chores etc and still offering her services. you could add an option of having a minder for Shavee (midwife?) to look after her and provide support, company and advice..

 

Step 8; Once the 2 months are over and you reenter the house, you find Shavee and the Minder/midwife huddled over by the nest area you bought before which is where the Hearthfire child's room is located and Shavee is on the nest are using the "Wounded" animations used by the sick NPCs in the game such as Imperial/Stormcloak camps, Red Water Skooma den or the Gildergreen hall/hospital in Whiterun to mimic the preganc pain of giving birth etc.

(if you away from home a lot playing various quests one after the other and you like to explore ec, there can be a message popping up just to notify you of the various stages as time passes are popping up so the only time ou can activate them is either by selecting an option to skip it to continue your current game or by traveling back to ou home and then when you enter the house this activates that stage thus to continue he pregancy period.)

Shavee will then initiate dialoue with you stating that she is "giving birth" to your Egg and she may need some powerful tonic to help elveiate the pain thus making the whole egg laying process quicker, the midwife/minder NPC (which is still optional) could then mention to you a recipy of a tonic which you can whisk together out of semi common ingredients found in most stores then you give to shavee to ingest and thus continue the egg-layingness. This can be also optional but the idea is to lower the pains of egg-birth for Shavee.

 

Step 9: the egg is layed, Shavee is curled up next beside it fast asleep in some sort of gown. She is instinctly protecting it and thus incubating it with her body... (Since Argonians have subtile mamilian qualities... boobs ahem..I assume they generate some degree of body heat and also may incubate thier young eggs also.) Shavee will be in a sleep like state immediately after the egg is layed Shavee would be in a sleeplike state for the next two days which could boith act as a "Bonding process for both egg and mother and also let Shavee recover from the whole egg-laying-brith ordeal." She will wear some sort of gown I think like a loose set of clothing robe? After this two day period, she can be found sitting in a chair next to the nest looking down at the egg protecting it or laying next to it "nurturing it" in which I assume what Argonians would do. You can talk to her how much your proud of her and so forth etc and give her an assortment of gifts to congratulate her and maybe assign your housecarl (if you have one) from one of the holds if you are a thane to come over to your house and provide protection to both Shavee, the egg and your house in general.

 

Step 10: 2 more months down the line, the egg begins to hatch. (you will get a message pop up saying its time or what ever if you out adventuring or fighting in the war) You then witness the egg hatching rpocess with both Shavee & midwife/minder kneeling over the egg to provide assisctance if needed, the egg shells break and a newly born Argonian hatchling is born. note: Keep Atvir away at alltimes...... he may feel like your house could do wit a lick of paint... Argonian hatchling blood seems to be his desired choice D:)

At this moment, the midwife/minder checks to see if the hatchling is healthy along side Shavee and also you have a message popup to enable you to choose the gender of the hatchling so you can have a preference or you can simply choose an option to have a random choice without you choosing.

There sits Shavee with the new born Argonian Hatchling with midwife/minder standing beside her. you then approach Shavee and she mentions to you how happy she is and also asked for you to name he new-hatched Argonian.

 

A message pops up asking to choose a name as in like when you first start the game. ( I dunno if you can rename a ingame NPC but I seen it done somewhere.... like in a mod that enables you to rename your horse?)

 

Step 11: Shavee then can walk around with the hatchling in a bag on her chest - erm... breastfeeding it Aw.

Shavee could wear this when going about the house in anyclothing (Bambino could be worn as a bandeloteer or clothing addon, heck you could wear it to nurse the child also.

 

Step 12: after about 6 moths to a year ingame, The Hatchling Argonian could of grown int a grown Argonian Child with all the Hearthfire apodtive dialogue that comes along with the DLC.

Can I download the breastfeeding argonian baby somewhere? It's TOO cute indeed! xD

 

Anyhow, I'd gladly start using Argonian if mod like this would be made.

Only "complicated" thing is the way how you handle the kid's growing up.

To get the kid tae grow, just get Paarthunax to shout at the lil' tyke.

 

Also, I believethis mod has a few pregnancy resources. Shouldn't be too hard to create a few pieces of clothing which are only to be worn when preggers. Perhaps restrict the equipment a pregnant woman can donne?

Its definatly feasable but would require some heavy scripting - not at all my strongest point.

Also Hearthfire will not open up in the Cs no matter what I try. Something about language strings or so - looked it up was that add to Skyrim prefs thing but meh did not work...

 

Anyway. The steps I nesled down are roughly what i logically think would be a real pregnancy for Argies but in response for the hatchling suddenly turning into a child is that perhaps Argonians mature faster than man & mer races? I dunno... perhaps fill in the "toddler" gap. Plus Argonians are the only Tes Race that has a unique way of replication....

 

And I have a Arg character with a family etc..

I did find a mod that was in the works last month about 2 characters going at it and having children, but nothing hasn't been updated. There was no exact date either when it will come out. So hopefully some one will finally have a mod where everyone in the game can at least have kids the natural way. Will track this mod, thanks!

Welp seems like a very good idea, But will the female players(in game not in rl) use the pregnancy system? like all of what you said but, instaid the players char says all of that instaid?
