Was the "thank you" said ironically? No

 

Is the man a criminal? No

 

Did he mean something else with "a glass of water"? No

 

Was the barkeeper pointing the gun to intimidiate him? well...not exactly...intimidate is the wrong word...good question

 

Did the bartender and the man know each other? No

 

Was it a warning that the man understood? No

A car, completely black and opaque that have the lights off enters an street without streetlights and which houses haves the lights off. The asphalt is completely black without white lines. A black cat crosses the street in front of the car but the driver sees it and brakes the car in time to not run over the cat. How can it be possible for the driver to see the cat?
