Perk/Trait

In my overhaul, you can basically kill any enemy in one shot to the head, but they can also do the same to you. So, I'm trying to think of something to make the game fairer on melee characters (thus going out of realism). Right now, I've just added a trait which you can choose at level 2 if you have 10 endurance. It gives you 60% damage resistance. Is there a better way? Thanks.

Increasing AC class and ability to "Avoid" bullets if possible if you are "Unarmed." Though I'm not sure about the one shot to the head thing, wouldn't that make the game very annoying for some and even easier for others? picture this,"Big group of super mutants or maybe an enclave patrol so you minigun sweep (Problem solved in seconds) , random raider in the wasteland getting a lucky shot while you are traveling to a new location, and not all headshots are always lethal. But it is totally your thing mod, just my thoughts about it. Also maybe make helmets far more important to protecting the head? I hope you didn't include behemoths as one shot to the head kills btw... or don't plan on it.

Nononono. Not everything is one shot kill. I've just increased base damage by 5x and made shooting someone in the face do 3x damage. Shooting a benemoth in the face with a pistol does nothing. But what you just explained then was -life-. That is the point of my mod anyway. I wanted to make everyone equal, and everything more realistic. And avoiding bullets is pointless, seeing as how most enemies cant aim properly, and when they do they will probably hit your arms/legs which do 0.1x damage anyway (instead of being lethal, it cripples, and does 10x less damage than the torso). But some of the higher end enemies, like Sniper Bandits can almost 1 shot you.

Also, some enemies such as super mutants have a stronger resistance to bullets.
