Water Crash/Bug

I noticed, that, when im near water(mostly around Rivet City), my game crashes often, without any errormessage. Also, when I am underwater, the water gets some strange colors.

The water options are all on low and it appears in windowed mode too.

 

I have Win XP (installed SP 3 when trying to solve this problem :P)

AMD 64 Athlon 3500+

Nvidia Geforce 6600 (128 MB)

Creative Souncard (24 Bit Live!)

Newest Nvidia Drivers and DirectX Drivers

Interacting with water on low quality causes some problems for some reason. Try putting the water on medium, it shouldn't lag your game any.
