prdVT
So, i have a idea for a diferent kind of combat gameplay in Skyrim, i guess it can't be made but, what do i know? I'm no modder, i can be wrong. For now i already apologize for any english mistakes in this, english is not my first language. In normal Skyrim, when you atack someone with a sword, you just press a button, and the atack is made, generally from the right to the left, the second one is from the left to the right, anyway, my idea is, when you want to atack, you wont be able to just press a button, you would have to hold the button of the hand that the weapon is, and move the mouse to make you atack, what i mean is, you hold the button, and if you want the weapon to swing to the left, you move your mouse to the left, the game recognize the movement and make the atack, if you want to atack from up to down, you move your mouse up and then down. The same thing could happen to the bows, you hold the atack button, and you could move the mouse wheel back so the arrow is draw, and when you let go the atack button, the arrow is shot.I would love to see a mod like that, if it can be made, it will be awesome!Thank you. RjOzzy
I was thinking of doing something like this with the combat system too. The most annoying thing about combat is the lack of good animations outside of kill cams. It would be cool if animations of the player and NPC worked together so there would be an attack animation and then a defense or damage animation to go with it, dealing with whether or not the NPC or player reacted in time to parry the attack. The main thing would be getting the animations and writing the code so that the system would recognize what animation to play in response to the attacker's animation. What you were talking about is do-able, you just need an animator and someone who could impliment these animations into the game (probably via Creation Kit).
