Hey I've been following this thread for quite a while. Yesterday I came across a new promising armor mod on the Nexus and I thought of this mod. Specifically the bard armor, although I feel it suits the pirate/ sailor/ port dweller look very well.

I got high hopes for this mod I hope it gets made someday.

Love the armour, but it looks a bit like ezio's from assassin's creed II.

well the islands are still being built, and I mapped out the quest line, so things are progressing.

The guy that was going to retexture the outfit actully ended up doing nothing, so if anyone would like to retexure/recolor this outfit for me, that would speed some things along :)

I'm pretty damn good at meshes and textures if you want to tell me how you want it to look

ALSO on a side note. Just a sudden thought, you know how when you first meet Esbern in the Ratway, and he has that door with a ton of locks and a little slot that opens up so you can see the person on the other side? It sort of reminds me of those scumbag taverns where the guy knocks on the door and someone on the other side opens the little slot and all you can see are his eyes and he just goes "Whats the password?!" Well you guys should totally use Esbern's door for some part of this mod I think its a really cool door that nobody ever uses in mods and it would make it really unique lol.

If you guys have anybody who knows how to script spells, you might consider adding a few seafaring spells. For example, a spell that causes large bodies of water (a lake, river, or the ocean, for example) to generate a crushing title-wave Maybe a mini-hurricane with nail-hard rain and gales strong enough to hurl NPCs around. Obviously, there should be a spell to conjure skeleton-pirates. I would think a collection of strongly-enchanted eye-patch artifacts would make for nice loot; similar in tone to the Dragonpriest masks, but once owned by legendary Pirate Kings. One with a continuous detect life and detect death effect, etc. It would be awesome to add remote islands with buried loot you have to have a shovel equipped to dig up. Maybe even a Dwemer ruin underneath the volcano. (If I'm putting down too many ideas at once, folks, be sure to let me know. It gets a little crowded inside my skull sometimes.) Oh, and a talking parrot who gives you quests. All of which, no matter how elaborate the objective(s), wind up with you just bringing him back another cracker. Usable cannons would be a nice addition, as would pirate-swill that has poisonous effects in addition to the beneficial effects. Muskets and flintlocks, gambling-tables, prostitutes, STDs, gangrene, equip-able tattoos, hire-able shipmates, a select-able First Mate (perhaps via a power; only one selected at a time), telescopes, explosive barrels of gunpowder... Jeeze, I just saw how long my list of ideas got. Sorry; I'll put a cap on it here, folks. It's all just food for thought, anyway.
