Load order correct???

I get random CTD's when opening doors, entering new area, for no reason at all, and now quicksaving sometimes. This is my load order with the merged patch, minus the full NMC texture pack, already tried a few fixes. The extra Ini file lines, no autosaves, etc. Let me know if you see a conflict or anything, im fairly new to modding.

here is mine i have the same mods as you even more and i dont get any crashes but how many cpu do you have because it might be a multicore problem tell me :

i think it might be conflict between MMM and FWE check on the FOIP if you got the 2 good version because sometimes the newer version are not compatible with each other and you have to wait for a compatibility patch . if it s not that try this : open fallout 3 , when you re one the main menu press alt+tab then open task manager , click on show all process , right click on Fallout3 process , click on set affinity and unchecked all your CPU except 2 of them

 

oh an you have a lot of plugins checked for nothing , all the dlc are not required if you check the MMM - FWE master release + DLC

Its a quad core. Its really bad right now. occasional up until Rivet city. Now it crashes every time I try to leave.

I had a really bad time too to makethe game run perfectly but i did it! if you do what i told you should have no more problem with the game

The Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch - Broken Steel.esp has a bug that will cause CTD's on fast travel, saves & autosaves including on exiting doors in the Rivet City/Project Purity area.

 

There's a fix for it using FO3Edit here:

If it is freezing, the complete lock up of your game rather than a CTD (Crash To Desktop) you're having & since you have a quad core that would be the Fallout 3 multi core bug.

 

Fallout 3 has trouble with multi core computers, mainly with ones that have more than two cores & use hyperthreading.

 

There is a fix, you need to edit your Fallout 3 .ini file.

 

The one you want to change is:

 

For XP:

 

My Documents\My Games\Fallout3\

 

For Vista & Win7:

 

Documents\My Games\Fallout3

 

The file you want will be called:

 

FALLOUT.ini

 

Open the .ini with Notepad & change this line:

 

bUseThreadedAI=0

 

to:

 

bUseThreadedAI=1

 

& insert this line under it:

 

iNumHWThreads=2

 

Save & close your ini.
