Hi!

Has anyone ever experienced something like this? and if so, do you know, how to resolve the issue, and get through, that non-existent door?

Not on a mere battleship, but if you assault the TempleShip at the endgame and this happens, it means that there is at least one alien still lurking around somewhere. The T-Ship is divided into sectors you have to finish before you can move on.

Thank you for the answer, it's actually the first section of the ship, and I'm pretty sure there isn't a single alien left there, i think it might be some kind of bug.

Now that you mentioned it i faced similar thing on the last mission, but it was, as you mentioned an alien playing Rambo style, but this doesn't seem to be the case here. I'll double check though, just to be safe.

 

Edit, on another ship, i was able to reproduce the bug.

The scenario it needs to appear is the following:

Shiv needs to be standing right in front of the closed alien door, then a soldier must open that door right next from the shiv.

I think, because the shiv counts as cover, the program calculates something differently, and won't allow anyone to pass through other then the shiv in question. Note that the shiv can't go back, after it went through the door.

Luckily i have a save file now. The thing is, i don't know if it's a game bug, or a bug with warspace, but I'll test it out.

 

Edit 2: I was able to reproduce it on vanilla with the same save game.
