Settlement Dragon Bone burial grounds

Simple Idea: Create pits where dragons bones are thrown after a dragon is killed near a city or settlement.

Technical:

After a dragon is killed and subsequently despawned from a town, a new location is scripted to appear after X days that has static versions of dragon bones to represent the guards disposing of the massive corpses blocking their roads. These new locations don't necessarily have to grow in size as more dragons are killed, but provide a lore friendly and immersive solution for what happens with all the bones.

Gameplay Implications:

These locations could be entirely cosmetic and static only appearing after a dragon is killed near a hold. They could also be utilized in a way that stores Dragon Bones and Scales so the player can access them later. If we operate off the idea that these remains are owned by the state, then it could be considered stealing to take them once they've been taken to this location.

Reason and my Logic:

Dragon Skeletons disappear unimmersively from many locations in Skyrim. I've probably killed countless dragons in Dawnstar only to find them despawning. Lets just assume that if a dragon is killed near a city or settlement its remains become property of the local government, instead of just being up for grabs for anyone who passes by. While dragon bones are initially rare and probably valuable, most smiths cant do anything with them (seeing as level 100 smithing is required which hints they are incredibly tough). Seeing as Skyrim is in a civil war and being attacked by dragons they probably couldn't capitalize on trading the bones and scales to collectors and to other regions.

Alternate idea: Simply add static variants of dragon bones (like the ones found in Dragonborn DLC and in the Soul Cairn that can be found near and around cities and villages that represent the fallen dragons assuming a dragon has been killed there by a player.

Feel free to comment ideas or explain to me if there is already a lore explanation for what happens to the corpses.

Thank you!
