Dragon Grappling

I'm going to keep this is simple and quick as i can.

I am proposing a rather simple idea and putting across 3 features that would make fighting dragons and general exploration much more amazing but it will require some experienced modding ability.

I propose a craftable rope arrow that when fired at a surface above you the rope will be climbable. So if you need to climb a house or a large hill, fire the arrow and grab the rope.

There is a secondary function to the rope arrow but to use it you need a craft a rope peg. When you fire the rope arrow below (say down a cliff for example) and then click the rope your character will peg it to the surface. This will allow you to zipline down the terrain to the point the arrow hit. However your character will be using his hands so you will need to wear some gloves otherwise you will start to lose hp as you burn your hands.

The final feature and the most complex one is of course using it on a Dragon.

Dragons have tough skin so if you fire a grapple arrow and it stick to the dragon there is only a small chance it will stay in the beast. Most of the time it will simply fall off but if you are lucky your character will automatically be dragged behind the beast. Sensing this the dragon will increase his altitude and begin flying away. Your character movement is no more, you must button mash as fast as you can and your character will start reeling himself up the rope closer to the dragon but the dragon will attempt to shake you off. With each struggle you will slip further down the rope. If the dragon wins you will fall to your death but if you button mash quickly you will reach the dragon's tail.

As you hold onto the dragon's tail whilst still mashing the buttons the dragon will go crazy, doing rolls and flying really high and fast, even diving. However you will slowly crawl up the beast to his neck. ((it must be notes while on the dragon there is no fall damage)) As you are on his neck the character animation changes and you must hold the button for your left hand and with your weapon begin hacking at the beast's neck.

The dragon will die and there will be a scripted animation that makes the dragon fall with you holding on. As it crashes to the ground you are unharmed, automatically climb off and the beast will turn to bones as they usually do.

*after notes*

This would make dragon encounters very interesting. If you grapple onto the beast there is no telling where you will end up once you kill it! You could appear at the other end of skyrim if the battle rages on long enough. Alternatively you could hold onto the dragon until he flies over a lake and then just stop mashing and fall off him to safety. It would make for a unique form of travel no matter how random the location would be.

Would this be possible given skyrim's engine?

Thanks

The rope arrow to climb up buildings is already done(mind you its very buggy) its called sneak tools, they add a lot of cool sneak stuff too. So i would bring up your ideas with him or her :P Edited by cyr0

Cool.

To be honest the first 2 functions are just mediocre to me. I'd really love for the whole dragon grappling aspect to be realisable. Imagine how cool it would be fighting a dragon in the sky and potentially crash landing anywhere!
