FNVEdit Woes

I went to make a tweak to my Clarissa Winters mod this morning, basically correcting a file path I had wrong that I finally lost patience with. So I open FNVEdit, change the model path, hit save, and...

*BLART*

FNV edit threw an access violation error. Okay. I checked my folder permissions; maybe something had gone wonky. Nope.

I checked that there wasn't another process with a lock on MyMod.esp. Nope.

I nuked the existing mod and its BSA and restored from backup. Nope.

I rebuilt the BSA so the filepath I was trying to add actually existed, rather than doing it the other way 'round. Nope.

:wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash:

So can ANYONE tell me what this error message means?

"[00:00] Error saving MyMod.esp.save.2013_01_14_11_19_26: Access violation at address 005F616B in module 'FNVEdit.exe'. Write of address 058FDA82"

I can save OTHER mods just fine.

FNVEdit version is 3.0.26, and I'm going to have a look at it in the GECK next.

EDIT: GECK saves it just fine.

EDIT 02: Saving in GECK and trying to change it in FNVEdit again resulted in the same error message, though with a different address write. Also, when it fails the save it pretty much eats the mod.

EDIT 03: It only throws that error with that mod when I edit the ARMA form TravelGloveR (A custom armour piece of mine. I'm going to try deleting that form and recreating it.

EDIT 04: Deleting the offending record, saving, then reloading FNVEdit and the mods seems to have solved it.

EDIT 05: Recreating the record in FNVEdit made it go splat again. Editing in the GECK seems to have met with success. I'm going to look at it in FNVEdit again and see if I can figure out what's different.

Edit 06: The original record had General Flags under the byped model with a value of five; post-GECK save those flags were gone. Editing the whole thing in the GECK got it moving correctly so I'm going to chalk this particular error up to 'God Only Knows' and flip FNVEdit the bird for ruining my morning.

....Then I'm going to apologize profusely to it because it's still fricking amazing and completely essential.

*WARNING*

DO NOT USE THE "UNDELETE" "DISABLE" OR "REMOVE IDENTICAL TO MASTER" commands, they screw with your game, even verifying files with Steam won't work after that...

What I just do is "Apply filters for cleaning" and kill all the "conflict losers" and keep everything else...

Oh and Boss doesn't sort everything, I use this just so it can tell me if something needs sorting...
