sawacs
Curious, I recently completed the main quest and reside at level 8. I would like to begin changing my character type to more of a sneaky thief etc. Should I continue from just before the end of the main quest or begin from the vault exit at the beginning? I hate to loose my current level gains and armor etc. Advice would be appreciated, Sawacs
Werewolf334
you can either try to continue before you complete the final quest and before you enter the room, or try to use this mod: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=

Werewolf334
No problem. Glad to help. Only thing I can do on this site since I don't want to release my personal mods :D Afraid of critics.

I hear that.. I have been modding the current weapons to use more realistic ammo along with damage to match. Example.. The 1911 mod I downloaded was firing was firing 10mm and is now firing .45ACP which it was originally designed to use. I am not sure where people came up with this 10mm crapola as it used to be popular years ago but is not any more. The L1A1 and FNFAL are now firing both the 7.62 Nato round. In all honesty, both guns in real life will fire .308 and 7.62 Nato spec rounds however, you do not want to fire 7.62 ammo in a .308 chambered "civilian" hunting rifle so the story goes. If someone wanted to design a "real" pistol round, they should look at the 357 Sig as it has the highest knockdown rate for any pistol caliber. This is mainly due to the velocity and shock the round impregnates on its target. However, in keeping the game realistic, this should not be incorporated as 357 Sig rounds would be very hard to acquire in this type of environment. It is a great game with some quirks to work out:) Btw, do not be afraid of critics since you will never make all the "kids" happy. You will always have critics. If you do release a mod, make sure it is foolproof:) Cheers! Shawn
Michlo
I would also strongly suggest that if you do start a new character, you explore the heck out of the game and ignore the main quest for as long as you can. Us Oblivion veterans learned that a while ago. :) Cheers.
