doofis
I would like to make my own partners plugins, I followed a few small tutorials however none tell me how to place them, so I have no idea where to find them in game. I want to make partners using different race mods, eg. aquamer ot MU ect. I would like them to be of the same quality as sonja, rhiana, sarileth, (Those three I seem to be partial to) perhaps assign them their own textures. anyway I got as far as editing to a vanila oblivion character and seeing a plugin for em in obmm, which i checked but...does me no good as i have no idea if its assigned to a cell? or however you do that. Is there any step-by-step tutorials out there?
MrSly
In order to place them into the world, all you have to do is find a spot in the Render Window and drag them from the Object Window into the Render Window. Basically here are the steps: Let's assume you want to place your NPC inside the Anvil Main Gate. 1) In the Cell View window, click on the Worldspace dropdown, select AnvilWorld2) Below, find the EditorID of AnvilMainGate, double click to bring it up in the Render Window3) In the Object Window, hit the plus (+) in front of Actors and click on NPC4) Find your NPC in this list, click and drag onto the Render Window (press 'A' to turn lights on)5) Your NPC will appear, floating above the ground6) Move it to where you'd like it to appear in the game7) Press 'f' to have the NPC fall to the ground (further adjustments can be made here)8) Save and check out in game! There is a good tutorial on how to use the CS, including placing items in the world, and navigating around using the CS HERE. Happy modding, Sly
