asefhassan
Hello there everyone,I am Asef & this is my first post in NexusForums,I am learing how to create Armor for Skyrim following this Tutorial - " http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Creating_an_armour_for_Skyrim._Part_1" & " http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Creating_an_armour_for_Skyrim._Part_2".and working on creating my first Armor using Blender following that Tutorial. The 3D armor Shape model & it's textures are done & ready to be Exported to NifSkope and I have the NIfScritps properly installed in Blender 2.49b in my pc.I have imported the SKyrim Skeleton from Nifskope to my Blender 2.49b successfully but whenever I try to export the Armor with that Skyrim Skeleton they show this Error - "export:CRITICAL:'Armature': Cannot export envelope skinning. If you have vertex groups, turn off envelopes. If you don't have vertex groups, select the bones one by one press W to convert their envelopes to vertex weights, and turn off envelopes.NifExportError: 'Armature': Cannot export envelope skinning. Check console for instructions."Screenshot of the 3d Model & the blender error is in the 1st attached Image. The details of Nif export Properties are in the 2nd attached Image. Can anyone please help me with this Issue ? Thanks in advance
Hanaisse
Did you actually import the skeleton.nif? The fact its called armature suggests you did. You don't need/want to. Per the instructions; Select the menu option File -> Import -> NetImmerse/Gamebyro and select the _0.nif file of the body you imported before for creating the armour (for example the modified femabody_0.nif). In the screen that contains the importing parameters select the option Import Skeleton Only + Parent Selected as shown in picture Importing a new skeleton and press the OK button.
