Bow audio mod help

Hey, first time trying to do my own mod and needing some help.

I'm trying to replace the audio (SE edition) for the bow when you draw back an arrow, without CK, purely because I don't know how to use it yet.
I have the correct audio format, bit rate etc and it's basically an overscarcastic "Hnnnnnnnng" when pulling back an arrow.
I've replaced the WPN_Bow_Pull files with the exact same descriptions (the ones that make the creaky sound) and it appears to work but only partially.

In game it only plays about the first H or half a second of the file and I can't figure out why.

Should I just learn CK and try to do it?

Each audio file is 1.84Mb and 10 seconds long if that helps.
