Warsaw2135
Hi, i am learning to use blender 2.49b and have been following the tutorial here: http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Creating_an_armour_for_Skyrim._Part_1#Add_weights_to_the_armour However, in the "Adding weights" step, why does the mesh move away from the body after i go from edit mode to object mode? This is causing a misalignment in game. I tried editing the translation in nifskope but it doesnt have an effect in game. neomonkeus
Not really sure what you mean by mesh moves away.... There are different modes for bones, I suspect that you have move things in object mode, instead of pose mode. Edit mode is how your mesh will look like in-game. Pose mode allows you to see how the bones affect the mesh and used when you are making animations. Don't move the bones in Edit mode if you are using a vanilla skeleton. Other than that not really sure without perhaps a screen-shot of the issue.
