Modification to the Hunting Rifle

How hard would it be for a modder to simply cut the stock off of the hunting rifle and shorten the barrel a tad bit? Both hands are on the rifle itself, so the same animations should work. I was wanting this done to make it sort of like a makeshift shotgun. I was going to rechamber it to .44 perhaps and drop the accuracy and distance for more damage.

 

I took a look at blender and it seems like it would take a long time for someone who has never used a modeling program to learn how to do something even this basic. I really only have the time to learn the GECK and not a modelling program too. Would any modder be willing to make this mesh edit for my mod?
