KimDraco
So, I succeed to import the mod Kanshou And Bakuya (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/49869?tab=posts) from Skyrim to Special Edition by following this tutorial : https://wiki.nexusmods.com/index.php/Porting_Skyrim_mods_to_Skyrim_Special_Edition.But here is my problem, one of the weapon doesn't appear in the game, I went to check on Creation Kit and I noticed that even here the weapon doesn't appear, as if the .nif was not well done. Can someone help me there please ?(I attached a screenshot of what I see on CK) Edited July 3, 2020 by KimDraco
Dragoon23
Try running the .bsa through Cathedral Asset Optimizer.
KimDraco
Ok so, I just tried this option. I've selected "extract .bsa" on CAO, but the weapon still doesn't appear in CK. I have the same information as soonerSo CAO doesn't seem to help much
KimDraco
Ok so, it's even worst than I thought, I wanted to see the two blade in the game and...
Dragoon23
Was there any error message in the logs for CAO concerning extraction? I tried it myself and ended up getting an error message about extracting. I manually extracted the meshes and textures using Bethesda Archive Extractor, than used CAO to convert the meshes and textures using full optimization for mesh and necessary optimization for textures. KimDraco
No I got no error message when extracting with CAO. I used BAE in the first place, before asking for help here and it was the same result as you can see in the two previous pictures
Hanaisse
Out of curiosity I downloaded the original mod and it's a mess. The meshes are set up wrong and the textures are incorrect formats, meaning it never worked correctly in LE, so will certainly not work correctly if converted as is. It would take a wall of text to explain how to fix it so I'd suggest just let it go and find another scimitar mod.
KimDraco
Well, I wanted to know if it wasn't the mod the problem so I asked a friend to download it and to test it on his Skyrim Legendary Edition, and it worked perfecly
Hanaisse
I never said it didn't work, I said it doesn't work correctly. Good luck with it, friend.
KimDraco
Well, I still hope someone could help me cause I don't really see the problem in the file. There are only textures and meshes and I don't see how it could turn wrong. Anyway, if there's a way to fix that, even if it takes time I will take a try
