Exporting armature from Blender

Is it possible to export a new skeleton from Blender? Is so, then how is it done? I know you need to use the havok SDK to create the .hkx file but there are a bunch of nodes in the existing skeleton nif files which I'm not sure where they are created. Looking at existing ones they appear to retain the constraint information as well as having several nodes that identify it as a skeleton. Do I create these nodes in Blender before export, or do I create them in Nifskope after export?
