Alithinos
Many of us who are tinkering with mods,I think have a dream of having our own developer studio one time so we can create our own games. If somehow you were getting a large amount of money, enough to allow you to open up a new studio and start making your own games, what kind of games would you do ?Have you thought of concepts ? Perhaps some specific game mechanic that no one else have thought of until now ?Well go on and share it then! TIPS:1) If your post is going to be large, please split the text in to paragraphs specific for certain aspects perhaps,so its more easy to read.2) Please be kind and if you want to criticize then do it in a civilized way. "This idea sucks" is not a good way to give feedback.3) Please try to be specific. General statements like "It will be the biggest RPG ever so it will rock" or "this will have the best shooting mechanics evah" aren't helpful. Because that's so general everybody will want something like that.Instead it would be better to write something like "The world of my RPG is going to be 50 square kilometers" or like "the shooting mechanics will apply a certain mass in each bullet, and the Physics Engine will determine the speed, accuracy and distance of the bullet according to the X,Y,Z, variables". Thor.
Hmm if i won the lottery tomorrow, i would retire and never think about work again, because developing a game seems to much like work, or the hiring process and organizations seems overwhelming for a me lol. Well if i had the money i would develop the most realistic rpg game ever made, it would make Crysis look like a ancient engine. Also would invent holograms for sure kicks and develop a rpg based in that environment http://forums.nexusmods.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/teehee.gif development cost 100billion, but hey i am a trillion air. http://forums.nexusmods.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/teehee.gifthe game would consist of 1000000kmh of roaming distance with real time terrain that you can generate and sculpt as much as you want.. Also space travel would be dynamic and in real time so loading times wouldn't exist ever. it would contain everything you would ever want in a game because it would be generated by your mind. If you wanted a rpg like game you would got one, but be careful the universe is so massive you might run into someones imagination and conflicts might happen. like a epic battle of the minds http://forums.nexusmods.com/public/style_emoticons/dark/teehee.gif Edited January 18, 2013 by Thor. r0bert
A game so unnecesarily and mindlessly violent, with such realistic gore and sounds it would take anyones mind off of real violence. RitualBlack
Cat Pat Simulator 2013 I will sell brushes for $2.49 each. People will also be able to pay $14.99 for room packs and than $9.99 room design kits and $4.99 for cat skins. This will be good because each year I am able to recycle most of the same rooms as new content for each yearly installment. The game will be made using DirectX 9 and support resolutions as high as 1280x720!!! I am also thinking about bringing it to Microsoft, maybe they will pay me more money if I release the room packs on their platform a month before any other AND I will be able to attach GFWL to the game.
