No Helmet/Hat/Cap graphic

After searching through 20+ pages from search "Helmet" I did not find a mod for the player character to be able to wear a helmet but with no 3rd person graphic showing, essentially the helmet (Not the head) would be invisible. I did see more than a few people ask and I know there are ones from Oblivion and Skyrim but was wondering if someone could make a mod like this for New Vegas please.

Making a mod to hide all characters' hats and helmets is rather simple (but tedious). You would have to remove the model from all helmets/hats and change what body slots they are using (so that they don't give you "hat hair" or hide your head). This would hide the helmets and hats for both the player character and all NPC. To only hide the player character's helmet you would have to do some scripting and that is not something I am good at.

Alternatively, I guess you could create an alternate invisible version of every helmet and hat and make them craftable from the regular version.

Eww seems to be way past my ability and seems to much work to ask for something as trivial. Appreciate the response and info!
