zazouman Posted January 17, 2013 Share Posted January 17, 2013 I got a few question for you guys about Creation Kit (CK) et Construction Set (CS). I played around with those and I want to do more but:I am under the impression that Skyrim mods are not on par with oblivion mod: mod quest are shorter and the rest is more about tweaking (with as exception every mod directly ported from oblivion/fallout when it come to resources). This is very suggestive and not really what should be discussed here (I am not starting a war on that :sweat: ) but if you have less know mod to suggest that do have those (not those mods on top 25)... Quest mod : It is because those take time to make ? Or because Skyrim mod take longer to make than oblivion (more complex) ? I learn about the does it have something to do with that? Is there any other bug, glitches or cumbersome system in CK that make (longer) mod difficult to do ? mechanism mod : Which of those tool allow more easily to create something really new ? Example : if I want to add a power to walk through some wall (to access new area or hide)? Or enemies that can caught the player? (I understand that those take time and skill). Which is easier to use for an IT/developer guy? And for people that aren't ? What about teamwork and integration? Does the CK offer some tool or is easier to use for those issues? Which of them is easier to learn (has a more friendly learning curve)? CK should have a better interface, but CS may have less thing to master...
