sawacs
Fallout 3 appears to have a serious issue with range and weapons. Energy weapons are not reference here but rather projectile weapons only. When firing on someone from a great distance, I have to aim far below the subject in order to acquire a hit. This makes no sense since bullets fly in an arc per say and that is also dependant on bullet coefficient and velocity (ballistic coefficient) Can anyone tell me if Fallout 3 models this? Thanks, Sawacs
Rapier_21
Oddly enough the sniper rifle acts exactly the OPPOSITE of what it should. I'm not sure I understand why, either. You can tweak the projectiles to have drop, just like the rail rifle does. It's not difficult; I'd put out a mod for it once I figure out how far an in-game vs. real world unit is, and I can fudge the range and drop figures. Guest
I've done the same experience, i've changed the distance of range when you use the scope and at a long range i would never shoot anything. So, to know where my bullet go, i've change the ammo effect and used a laser beam effect with a very long time of traking and surprise : when you shoot the bullet go upside and on the right. For a short range it's not a problem but for very long range shots it's really a problem because you miss your target about 2 or 3 m. Did someone know how to change that. Moving the cross is not very nice in game. (sorry for mistakes i'm French)
