Why mods not working?

Hi

Well I lost my game when I reinstalled a new harddrive, my external one wasnt big enough for all the data I had in Ob along with everything else that needed to go on it.

So anyways, I have installed Ob, SI and KOTN and have just put 2 mods on for the start up Rens Hair and Growlfs Female body replacer.

I dont understand why but they are not working, I tried installing via OBMM and activated and everything, but not working, so I tried manually installing them and when I tried to activate the normal way (Data Files) they didnt appear and still wont show in my game when I try to start a new game.

I have OBSE v.16 and have run from that, no luck.

I know they work from the offset of the game as I have had them from the very beggining of my last game.

Is there some kind of patch I have forgot to install anyone?

You didn't say whether you installed the 1.2 patch. Since you have Shivering Isles make sure you get that one and not the one for Oblivion only.

If the mods worked before this is a likely reason because mods made for version 1.2 will not work without the patch.

I suggested this to someone yesterday who had the same issue and it fixed it for him (or her).

It's easy to overlook the simplest of things sometimes.

Thanks alot I fixed it.

I installed the SI patch and I think what I did wrong was I installed a patch that I didnt have to, cos I had SI and that had already done it. I was just so damn keen to start the game again and catch up on my countless hours of gaming I lost. lol
