DsGBiohazard
Actually, there is some sort of mod for this, which works like patcher and systemically reduces texture size of all textures in textures folder. (did I use textures- word too much?) It doesn't reduce the quality, just texture size, thus reducing FPS loss but still keeping the look of new textures. I'll try to search for it as well. Said and done, this is what I meant: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/12801 I thank you greatly! However, it hasn't helped much. It's not having the impact that a mod based on my first suggestion COULD have.
senterpat
Thats a different mod. The one I saw had reduced building textures. I'll try and find it when I can, I wish I could remember some of the description :(

senterpat
Because downgrading from the normal textures makes low end pcs able to play the game with much better fps

Hope it's what you wanted. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/17137 Thank you SO MUCH!!! This helped me a TON! It reduced the quality of the environment, but kept the quality of the NPCs and items! I cant' thank you enough for helping me find this! So now that the issue has been resolved, it would be nice if an admin can lock this thread!
