AncientSion Posted January 18, 2013 Share Posted January 18, 2013 Hey.Im looking to create a "mod" that gives a new recipe, turning a Bent Tin can into a Tin Can.For modding, i have only used FNVEdit so far, so basicly looking up files and altering values for gold value, weight, damage etc only.I think i could easily mod a existing recipe to suit my needs ,but i would like to make a NEW one. For alterting an existing ones, am i overlooking anything or would it really be as easy as to find a recipe to "overwrite" and alter Ingredients and Output to the values specified for the misc item entry of Bent Tin Can and Tin Can ? For creating a new one, can someone give me a hand ?Even better, can someone actually create an esp with a single new recipe (maybe Bent Tin Can to Tin Can :P) so i can take a look at it ? - thanks. When running TESEdit on TES4, the tool shows a lot more information, most important is the ability to show all files referencing the currently selecting file.This function seem to not be available in FNVEdit. So i opened Geck and create the Recipe and voila is works ingame.Though i dont yet unterstand the setup of Geck, like what is the active file and which data files do you need to set a cross on ?
