Takarazuka Posted January 18, 2013 Share Posted January 18, 2013 While working my current mod project to overhaul the Orc strongholds, I have been noticing a lot of extra markers, patrol paths, and other things that looked as if Bethesda was going to expand on them but never did. One thing that caught my eye was a world event quest setup called WE16 - it is nearly identical to WE02 which governs hunters/deer in the wild and how hunters actually hunt them, but this one specifically was for Orcs. There is a fully voiced dialogue setup, some NPCs, and factions as well, but it is not used in game afaik. I decided it would add a lot of atmosphere to the strongholds to have a couple of hunters that had a schedule for going out and actually hunting for game since several NPCs mention hunting and stuff. I was able to get the orc hunters setup as hunting vendors and they have special dialogue that isn't used by other hunters you encounter. However, I am having problems with getting them to actually hunt when on their patrol path even when there is appropriate Prey Faction spawns nearby. I am not too great with the quest setup system in the game and was hoping someone could take a look at both WE02 and WE16 and help me understand what all is needed to make them trigger. No mod is needed for them to show up... they will load with Skyrim.esm. Thanks!! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
bben46 Posted January 19, 2013 Share Posted January 19, 2013 It's possible that the Beth devs also had a problem or bug with that - and to get the game out on the drop dead date 11-11-11 they just left that uncompleted and disabled.
