Athelos Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 So I just installed ENBSeries with SkyRealism; and I am loving it. Good feel. I tried a few different presets, and settled with warm (cinematic looks awesome but I am discouraged by the wide screen bars). On that note, despite any preset used, whenever I am in third person (which I frequently am as I like an over-the-shoulder view) the FOV focus keeps going in and out with each step, running or going into first person does not do this, only third person walking does it. Any ideas what I need to change in my SkyrimPrefs or ENB configs to make this go away? Perhaps old settings from a previous installation of skyrim and I need to clear out the old INI's from My Docs/My Games/Skyrim? Any help is greatly appreciated, working on a big mod and testing a lot of these mods out.
rbtRvlt Posted January 19, 2013 Posted January 19, 2013 (edited) Depth of Field, I think you mean. Skyrealism's ENB Evolved (I assume that's what you have, if not find it here http:/skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/23765).The enbeffectprepass.fx file included (openable with notepad or wordpad, i believe) has a whole bunch of Depth of field options. One of them is manual focus, about the third or fourth section of options down. Remove the slashes in front of // #define USE_FOCUS_MANUALand voila! Use 9 and PgUP+PgDOWN to adjust the focus distance. Make sure to put the slashes in front of the USE_FOCUS_FIRST line. :D I had the same little problem when i first installed the mod too. :PHope this helped! :teehee: edit: #define ENABLE_LETTERBOX_BARS in enbeffect.fx is what controls the black bars you mentioned. just put the slashes in front and no black bars! Edited January 19, 2013 by RbtRvltin
Athelos Posted January 19, 2013 Author Posted January 19, 2013 (edited) SWEET! Thank you! Everything but the load screen is clear now. I guess I can live with that. Edited January 19, 2013 by Athelos
rbtRvlt Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 My pleasure. :) Oh, and the enb for the load screen can be toggled under IgnoreLoadingScreen=true/false in the enbseries.ini.

This is what I have going on. http://i49.tinypic.com/1z4agso_th.jpg http://i48.tinypic.com/5d9ir4_th.jpg Candles appear to have the same effect...Turning Bloom off seemed to help. I looked over the ENBSeries.ini and it did not have the IgnoreLoadingScreen=true, so I added it. As you can see, it did nothing.I also forgot to mention that I am using STEP 2.2.0. I would much like to disable DOF and Focus altogether, if that's possible with STEP installed. Edited January 22, 2013 by Athelos
Athelos Posted January 22, 2013 Author Posted January 22, 2013 If nothing else, I wouldn't mind SUBTLE DOF and Focus. I've been looking through some guides but haven't really found anything on how to decrease them.
rbtRvlt Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 I've never seen anything like those screenshots. O.o Do you have enb bloom enabled? Oh, and adaptation has serious issues with skyrealism enb. Made mine grey and spotty. As for the DOF, Another option in enbeffectprepass.ini above the manual focus called // #define ENABLE_SMART_APERTURE lets you determine the amount of focus, very helpful. Just 0+PgUp and PgDown, like the focus distance one.
Athelos Posted January 23, 2013 Author Posted January 23, 2013 Well, TESV.exe seems to spike 4GB with ENB installed and I am getting serious hangs, lockups and CTD's with it and STEP. So I may just remove it or go with Zoner's Performance ENB (the most balanced I've seen). And yeah, That seems to be with Bloom enabled but I think the presets are expecting Realistic Lighting, not sure though.
