Porting Help

Quick summary, I'm porting the Chinese jumpsuit and Chinese commando hat from FO3 to NV.

The problem, I can't get the world model mesh for the hat to work. In GECK and in game it simply shows up as a "!", I've checked the file paths for the textures a thousand times and I can get the textures in NIFSkope. So, what am I missing? If anyone needs information from me simply ask and I'll provide what I can to the best of my abilities.

Hi WGOJango,

 

That's probably due to bad collision information in the hat's world model. You can fix it using NifSkope - extract a world model of some other hat (from Fallout - Meshes.bsa), open it, then replace the NiTriStrips node with the one from the commando hat.
