Grenade Warning Indicator

I am not positive, but i believe that the grenade indicator is stored in a single dds file along with other onscreen HUD parts, such as crosshairs, if you overlay it with a transparent color then it should be invisible when you set it up to use that dds.

Correct me if im wrong but there is no such thing as an invisible color. The only thing i can think of you could do is edit the alpha channel of the texture itself. The alpha channel is a textures transparency in Maya so im guessing its the same for 3ds Max too. I'm a little rough on texturing since i haven't done it since college. It might not even have a texture. It might just be an animated OSD (on screen display) image. Just my 2 cents. Good luck.
