HORRIOR Posted July 12, 2020 Share Posted July 12, 2020 I posted about problems I had with my armor mod earlier here and I have worked out most of the problems with it. Here is the result (just the armor, hadn't worked on the helmet boots or gloves yet)https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/images/75320 The problem I have now is that I want to use orbs from Skyrim Enchanting table as parts of the armor. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/images/75316 The problem comes into play as I try to skin and weigh the orbs in OutfitStudio. I did this with all the other extra armor parts and they worked just fine. But when I do it to the orbs, they turn invisible in NifSkope and Creation Kit crashes.https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/images/75317 As you can see from the nodes I made sure to get rid of all the extra ninodes and only used Trishapes. But the orb parts stayed as NiTriShapes where as everything else is BSTriShape, so that might be the cause but I am not sure. As such, I would like to get help on this matter or if possible, perhaps a download link for an armor ready enchanting orb? Here is Media fire link for the current armor nif file. Using SSE Nif Optimizer I was able to fix it by converting the entire mesh first to LE, then back to SE and the orbs show up as proper BSTriShapes. Using SSE Nif Optimizer I was able to fix it by converting the entire mesh first to LE, then back to SE and the orbs show up as proper BSTriShapes. Any chance of you posting the fixed nif with media fire or something? Haven't used the SSE Nif Optimizer before so copying the converted orbs from your file would be easier. Edit: Okay I ran it through the SSE Nif Optimizer and was able to get the glass domes of the orbs visible, but not the green animated effects inside them.
