pingfreak
I making a vault. I have come to a part wherein I want optimization to be at it's best. I am wondering if someone can save me some time by answering this question...Is there a limitation to how many portals you can see through at once;like some of the other editors I have used for other games? Khet
To my knowledge, no there isn't a limit. However, I would personally use as few portals as possible (reserving ports for sharp corners/doorways only) to try to prevent this if there is a limit. Unless the room is grotesquely large there shouldn't be an issue of having multiple portals in one room.
pingfreak
Thanks for the response. The area wasn't to large. Really there's seems to be no difference with the optimization. It works just as well without. As far as the limit, I'm finding that you will only be able to see the zone next to you past a optimization portal. You can only assign 2 zones to the portals; an in and and out. So seeing down a hall of portals isdefinitely out of the question. Now If I can figure out how to connect my vault cells togather via teleporters correctly, without getting duplicate files, I would almost be done with my quest/Vault.
