agamer
Hi, i'm new to Oblivion and its modding community. Been playing around with CS and getting pretty comfortable with it, however i'm having a problem getting custom content to show up in my game. For instance, i'm redecorating a castle and trying to use some custom furniture like sofa, chairs and fireplaces. I put them in the castle via CS, save the work, start the game and the cc is not there. I dont have much problems getting some stuff to show up in game but some content just isnt working. One mod i'm trying to use in my castle is the Wine Overhaul mod. I try to put the wine making vat and red/wine barrels in the wine cellar but they dont show up in my castle although they are working fine in the original downloaded mod. So can anyone help me figure this out please, and thanks for your time.
agamer
One other thing i'd like to add is i also have Xia's sofa and chair mesh installed in game and also have hammerfell mod installed. Hammerfell was installed using OBMM. Xia's sofa and chair show up in my castle no problem....but when i try to use the furniture from hammerfell based on the same meshes but different textures they dont show up. There are no yellow wheres the mesh signs so the meshes arent the problem. Same for the wine overhaul and fireplace. The meshes are there but the furniture is invisible. The fireplace i can even bump into in game, just cant see it.
agamer
Sorry, i have another thought. I think some of the textures are compressed files such as the hammerfell textures i'm trying to use. Would compressed files have anything to do with the issue i'm having?
