Triggering the Open Command with a terminal

i was trying to figure out how to get a terminal to trigger the open animation for the Vault Gear Door.

 

tutorial:

 

take any unlock terminal that you want. duplicate the base so you have a fresh terminal.

 

open the base. in the script area where it mentions mylink.unlock change the word unlock to this:

setOpenState 1

 

make sure the object you want to open is linked to the terminal just like you'd link it normally to an object, and voila.

so now, you could setup a terminal that will open innaccessible doors and itemboxes and when you leave the terminal window, it'll automatically open for you.

I think this would be great for easter eggs. you'd be able to have a door thats total inaccessible. then you find a terminal that's set to hard to make it a big challenge. it unlocks and opens the inaccessible door and inside are high value treasures.
