load problem

hi im new to modding so please bare with me.

 

started off with modding everything worked perfectly fine, this is for about 2 week now, i then had to restore windows {8} back to factory settings. got my skyrim save back that worked fine. i have just re installed my mods that i was using (there are quite a few) but now when i start skyrim either through skse launcher or just through steam (skse taken off for that) it getts to the main menu where i can continue my game then it goes straight back to the desktop. i have used boss for load order and also used tes5 edit. please help me just want to play skyrim again.

Cloaks - No Imperial.esp Active

Note: Use only one cloaks*esp

Cloaks - Player Only.esp Active

Download TES5Edit by following that link and the use the guide there to clean the esp. Then remove either 'no imperial' or 'player only' ('player only' would make 'no imperial' redundant).

I am pretty sure this conflicts with Climates of Tameriel.

 

Neither of these issues should be causing the CTD you describe. Based on your description, it sounds like one of the esp's in your load order is missing a master. Can you start a new game if you disable every single esp except the default game esm's and DLC's?

i can start a new game if everything is disabled i got rid of cloaks and enhanceddynamicweathersystem.esp and still going straight to desktop. im going to get rid of all my mods and start again i will post up after to let you no
