assass1n1
Does anyone know the answer to this question, please? I'm using the Vampire Race Reloaded and Vampire Race Reloaded Patch. My Day Walker tends to be a bit on the silent side. I would like her to talk, make combat sounds, make sounds each time she jumps and lands. How do you get her to speak, make sounds and be less silent? All help is appreciated.
Legotrash
I think you're looking for something like this: My Voice ExtenderIt has one (or two? I can't remember right now) custom voice but you can also download Custom Voices for the My Voice Extender mod which adds more.

assass1n1
Thanks. I'll try that and tell you how I go.I tried that and it worked. Thanks Legotrash. This is a beginning. What I need to do now is get them to hold conversations with people they meet in Mages Guilds, Shops, in the street, in Inns, anywhere they're travelling with the Player. They do all the lip syncing and hand movements any of the NPCs do anytine they're conversing with each other. They're not speaking though. That's what I want to solve next. I'm not sure how to do that. I'm new to Modding.
Legotrash
Now I got it,I didn't know you were talking about companions. You'll have to edit the race mod which the companion belongs to. I haven't done it myself but I don't see why it wouldn't work: Load up the race-mod of the specific companion and click the "character" tab, then click "Race" and a new window will pop up. Find the race of your companion, click on it and under the "General Data" tab you'll see that you can choose the male and female voice for that specific race. Choose one of the vanilla voices, click apply then save etc and you should be set. Since you're new,you could try the safe way: Instead of editing the race-mod itself, you can just tick it (without making it active) when you're about to load it up. Do the changes you want and when you'll save choose to save as .esp. You'll create a new plugin which modifies the original so if somehow you did something horribly wrong while editing you can always delete it and make a new one (if you'll create a new .esp, remember that you'll have to activate it as any other mod before testing it out). If you're satisfied with the results then delete it and edit the original race-mod.
assass1n1
thanks fro that. I'll try this and let you know how I go. Sorry, I should have said this was for companions.
assass1n1
Hi Legotrash; I'm back. I went in to the Construction Set, and added the DayWalker and Pureblood voices I found in the Races Tab in the Character menu. Still silent. i even made a couple of folders in the Voice folder, and called them Vampire Race Reloaded and CM Vampire Race. Nothing still. There are menus for both voices in the Race Tab, so I thought these would work. Still puzzling this one out.
Legotrash
Try first with, for an example, imperial voice since we know it works. If that works then there's something wrong with the custom voice files. When modding or tweaking always take it one step at a time,it'll save you from any possible confusion in case something doesn't work. In this case, first try a vanilla voice --> check it in-game and if it works then try a custom one.
assass1n1
Added the Imperial voice to both characters so we'll see what happens. Probably should have mentioned this, they're two of the CM vampire Companions from the CM Vampire Race. Think that's the name. They're from the Kazee CM Vampire companion mod.
