Douchevahkiin
First of all, so I have no clue how most thing work. I'm trying to make a patch that makes some NPCs added by Immersive Patrols (Stormcloak leader, specifically) use armors from Guard Armor Replacer. I opened CK, loaded Skyrim.esm, Immersive Patrols and Guard Armor Replacer, and located the NPCs. There, in the inventory tab, I changed their outfit to the ones from Guard Armor Replacer and saved the esp. The esp didn't seem to have a dependency for the mods, so I opened SEEdit and added both as masters. But... ... It doesn't seem to work. Stormcloak leaders are still wearing their old armors. Furthermore, SEE conflict shows that the patch doesn't have any conflict with any of the other mods (I would expect it to have some conflicts with Immersive Patrols, right?), and when I check for errors in the esp I created SEEdit shows <Error: could not be resolved> in the "Factions", "TPLT" and "Package" tags of each of the affected NPCs. So, I would like to know what I am doing wrong, and how would be the correct way to create such a patch. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks! Douchevahkiin
Well, it's solved. I downloaded the CK fixes, did it all again and now everything works fine.
agerweb
Adding them as masters after you had made the changes in your esp will not work. That's why it worked after you did it again because you had made them masters before making changes (nothing to do with the CK fixes).
Douchevahkiin
Thanks, good to know. However, I'm not really sure why they weren't marked as masters the first time, as I did exactly the same thing, I think.
