Model requirements for weapons

Alright, so I'm trying to make a weapon that has a custom model for Fallout 3, but I'm not sure how to do about compiling a model for it. I got all the exporting down, and well the programs necessary, so the question is what do I need? I'm familiar with the Source Engine in which you require a world model and a view model, but what about Fallout 3?
