Pink floor glitch on Forlorn Hope interiors

Somehow I've been getting this bug where the entire floor has this weird pink glitch, like a missing texture or mesh or something.

It's only on Forlorn Hope and it's kinda daunting. I have read I can detect an error like this in FNVEdit but most I've read so far never stated how. It's always "Nevermind just fixed it on FNVEdit" then just trails off. Anyone can help me step by step?

This is most likely the culprit. Basically, the ground you see in those tents is just a plane that uses one of the terrain textures. So, I would suggest removing the texture mod and check if the issue is still present.

Problem is still there. Still pink with alternating textures. Is there anyway to restore the original dirt nif? Seemed its the only defective thing.

Tried viewing other interior cells, and the problem only centered on Forlorn hope's plane. Rest were fine.

If not then I maybe I could just place floor static big enough to cover the glitched floor.

EDIT: Seems like the culprit is the DLCPitHCourtDirt512.nif file which pretty much the default ground static of all tent interiors.

You say the texture is alternating. There's only a few things that could be the cause then.

1. The mesh was replaced and now has different textures paths without the corresponding texture being present.

2. You have too many plugins.

Without a load order I can't say what really is going on.

As AusAllerWelt has you well in hand on the texture problem, I'll just answer your original question about identifying the source of the glitch for the benefit of anyone coming upon this thread.

If you are just trying to identify the source plugin of an object with a graphics error, please see the 'Issue: Find the source mod-index of an object in-game' entry of the 'Solutions to Graphics problems' section of the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" article.

To determine which plugins in your "load order" might be in conflict: Use FNVEdit. Load your entire "load order". Read and follow the "Conflict Detection and Resolution" procedure in the "Tome of xEdit" documentation.

(As FNVEdit/xEdit continues to evolve, it's always better to refer to the current version of their online documentation than some well meaning forum post that can quickly become outdated.)
