Rennn
I've wanted to play Morrowind since I was a kid, but it was 2009 before I had both the freedom and pc to buy it. Every time I installed it, something came up. Another game held my interest, or I'd get tired of dying over and over again trying to enter a cave. (Morrowind is clearly from a more hardcore generation) I'm finally reinstalling it, armed with more experience than ever, and I finally have the skill, drive, and tactical knowledge to progress. Before I start my playthrough in earnest, what are some good mods to have that won't dilute the experience? No graphics mods please, I'm already running MGSO and it's more than enough.

A simple magicka regen mod (there are several, google or search the nexus for them) is good if you have played Skyrim/Oblivion and can't get past the lack of regen. Galsiahs Character Development Mod is also pretty good, but it does adjust the stat and leveling system. So if you have too much trouble with the vanilla leveling system, give it a look. I use it just for the more streamlined approach. If you choose to use an accuracy mod (b/c you get tired of missing), don't use one that just makes it like Oblivion/Skyrim. The whole hit/miss feature is a pretty big part of the game, and keeping the feel of a DnD style attack is important. Here is a good one I use (with the 25% option) :Combat Experience: Depth Perception
