Fribblesworth
Hey everyone,I've been having this problem for months, now. When using melee and unarmed weapons in third person, I almost always wind up watching the same animation. It differs for weapon each weapon type: for bladed weapons you run up and cut their throat, for two-handed melee, despite whether its bladed or blunt you jam it in their eye, unarmed almost always winds up either driving your knee into their face or a superman punch to the mouth. For some reason blunt one-handed weapons use this as well. First person animations seem to be completely untouched by this and work fine. I have tried removing all of my mods manually, nuking my directory, checking for loose files and removing them. I've tried reverting everything to its original state and still this persists. I'm at a loss as to what else to try, so some help will be much appreciated.I should also note that I am using the steam version and I did use Vortex for my mod manager. Wererommel
I don't know what causes that, but you might want to try this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/41614?tab=bugs
Fribblesworth
I don't know what causes that, but you might want to try this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/41614?tab=bugsThanks for the suggestion. I'll see if it can be used as a bandaid option until I figure out how to fix this. In the meantime, I did figure out that it isn't any mods or loose files causing this. It's Far Harbour. For some reason, only when Far Harbour is installed and active, does this glitch occur.
Wererommel
It's got to be some mod incompatible with Far Harbour.
Fribblesworth
It's got to be some mod incompatible with Far Harbour. As far as I can tell I've removed every mod from my computer. I've dug around and deleted whatever I could find and did a fresh install. The problem's still there and only there while Far Harbour is enabled. I even tried cleaning the DLC to see if that would help, but, nothing.
Wererommel
I'm sorry, but I am out of ideas and can only suggest you use a combat animation mod.
